Christ Church, Lisburn

The Parish of Christ Church Lisburn on the Hillsborough Road has been a place of Christian witness since 1842 and has served the community in Lisburn since then through its proclamation of the good news of Jesus Christ. Now in 2014 we have created this new look web site which presents our Mission Statement in this new phase in our witness as disciples of Jesus Christ. This is the first time the Parish has produced a Mission Statement and it is to be welcomed as it gives us a starting point for future ministry and witness.

We have focussed on the words of Jesus Christ in our Mission Statement as we seek to live as "active disciples of Jesus Christ" in the Parish and in our daily lives. Our five values represent what we hold dear to as well as what we aspire to though our worship, fellowship, Parish organisations and witness in the community. These five values will shape the lives of individuals and groups of parishioners as disciples of Jesus Christ in the coming years.

A few words from the Rector

Welcome to our new Parish Website which I trust will give you a glimpse of what the Lord is doing in the Parish and community of Lisburn.

There is a warm welcome to our worship on a Sunday, our Parish organisations for all ages and to support us in being disciples of Jesus Christ in our city and community.

We are situated on the Hillsborough Road, Lisburn, close to the city centre.

Please explore the details of the Parish organisations and all our links, local and global.

If you are visiting us on a Sunday or a Parish organisation,

please note there is car parking in the church grounds.
