Welcome to our parish website as we begin a new season in January in parish life....

We give thanks to the Lord for our journey through Advent as a parish, ‘Journey to
Bethlehem’ with 3 week teaching series by Gareth, the carol service, nativity and worship on
Christmas Day.

It was encouraging to see so many attending these services. Parishioners
were very generous to the work of Lisburn Foodbank, the Salvation Army and the Christmas
Bauble Scheme for St Apollo in Uganda as well as the regular giving to parish life and ministry.

As we journey into 2024, we will be hosting the Sanctuary Mental Health course on a
Tuesday night from the 16th January, exploring aspects of giving through CAP material,
supporting the lent project focusing on the Leprosy Mission and praying for our young
people as they journey to their confirmation on the 10th March.

A particular verse that will shape our ministry in growing a healthy church is from Psalm 24:4-5:

Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for
you are God my Saviour, and my hope is in you all day long.’
